When we enter shopping malls, hotels, entertainment clubs and other places, we often see decorative glass, which is beautiful in color and has a sense of art. Nowadays, many families also use decorative glass when decorating, and the most popular one is Painted glass and decorative insert laminated glass.
Below are some of the more popular decorative laminated glass precautions:
1. Silver mirror decorative glass lamination
Silver mirror glass is made by adopting modern advanced mirror-making technology, selecting super-grade float glass as the original film, and making it through a series of processes such as sensitization, silver plating, copper plating, and protective paint. The decorative color or pattern need to be painted on a transparent glass, and then laminated with the silver mirror. Suggest to choose a super transparent model EVA interlayer film with high transparency. The thickness can be chose based on the flatness of the glass. Normally we recommended to use 0.76mm Ultra transparent EVA interlayer film.
2. Glazed tempered glass lamination
Enameled tempered glass is made by printing glass glaze on the glass surface through special process, then drying and tempering. EVA interlayer film and also ionoplast (SGP) interalyer film can be used for lamination. For some cases, color EVA can be selected for lamination according to design requirements.
3. Painted glass lamination
Printed glass is glass that prints various colorful patterns on ordinary flat glass with special materials. The part of the glass printing pattern is opaque, and the space part is transparent, thus forming a unique decorative effect. For painted glass lamination, it is necessary to pay attention to selecting the correct ink to produce spray-painted glass to ensure that the ink and EVA film do not react chemically. Thereby avoiding DE-lamination problems caused between the ink and glass.
4. Variety types of laminated glass insert
There are many textiles, fabric, decorative paper, and designed films on the market which can be used for decorate glass lamination. The production process is similar, just need to use double layers of EVA interlayer films for laminate the insert into glass. But it is important and necessary to ensure the temperature resistance and heat shrinkage performance of these insert material before lamination. Some materials are easy to absorb moisture, so before laminating, it is necessary to test the moisture content of the material. If the ambient humidity is high, it is recommended to extend the holding time at the low temperature range to reduce the changes to have Haze problem.
