Because it is a fluoroplastic, although it has many of the above advantages, it is as big as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) in that it is extremely hydrophobic, has low surface energy, poor wettability, and can hardly be bonded. Compared with surface treatment methods such as strong acid and alkali, strong oxidant treatment, flame treatment, mechanical sanding, etc., plasma treatment is the only feasible method. At the same time, the side facing the atmosphere is not treated and retains its strong hydrophobicity, so that the falling raindrops cannot stay on the surface and roll down quickly without leaving water marks on the surface. At the same time, since the dust falling from the atmosphere is mostly inorganic substances, water has good wettability to it, so the rolling water droplets will collect the dust into the water droplets and roll down together, realizing the self-resistance of the surface of the photovoltaic cell similar to the lotus leaf. cleaning action.
